Project details
Construction is 505’s core, however it’s civil fleet of diggers and trucks enable expertise with excavations and landscaping. 505 transformed the outdoor living of this grand home with its graceful architecture and Cornwall Park setting.
Previously a difficult garden, overgrown across uneven surfaces and different levels, the area needed levelling and retaining walls built. The team worked hard due to problematic access with earth being removed by the barrow load.
Tiers of retaining walls create rock-lined garden beds that rise to the boundary fence with ancient trees of Cornwall Park standing tall on the other side. Stones steps meander up to a gate that opens onto the park. The pool was upgraded with new slate tiling and the pump house relocated to a more discreet location.
“The owners are rapt with the result and once they saw the transformation out the back, they said let’s do the front.”
