With 25 years in the construction industry and as a Licensed Building Practitioner, Adrian brings both experience and leadership to his role as Company Director. He has a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget, and his strong relationships with consultants and subcontractors are a key part of 505’s success.
Adrian sets the pace for the team, driving projects forward with a clear focus on targets and deadlines while ensuring quality is never compromised. Known for his hands-on approach and commitment to doing the hard work himself, he leads by example and inspires collaboration across the entire company.
For Adrian, construction is as much about people as it is about building. His leadership style is grounded in teamwork, communication, and trust—values that continue to shape 505’s culture and reputation.
With 21 years’ experience across construction management, finance, and contracts, Jessie brings both strategic oversight and practical know-how to her role as General Manager at 505. Backed by a Bachelor of Communication Studies, she has a sharp ability to connect the dots between people, processes, and projects.
Jessie oversees the financial and business operations of the company, making sure systems run smoothly and resources are managed wisely. She’s equally focused on people—ensuring clear, effective communication across the team, with subcontractors, and with clients, so that every project progresses with confidence and clarity.
Her depth of industry knowledge and calm, organised approach provide stability in a fast-paced environment. Jessie has a knack for balancing the big picture with the fine detail, keeping 505 on track while creating a collaborative and supportive culture that allows both the team and clients to thrive.

Matt is our MD of 505 Construction North and we are so excited about the successes our Northern team has had in its inaugural year.
Matt is a dynamic, focussed and driven team leader. He is a problem solver who thrives on challenges and detail in premium residential construction. Matt fiercely believes in thorough project planning and the power of a collaborative team to achieve the highest goal.
Matt has specialised in luxury residential for most of his construction career. He has been project managing in Tara Iti and Te Arai Links since moving to Mangawhai 10 years ago. Matt has boundless energy and where this will take 505 Construction North.

Peter joined 505 HQ earlier this year, bringing a fresh perspective and a wealth of financial expertise to our team. With a building merchant background, being BCom and BA qualified, and as a Chartered Accountant, Peter combines strategic insight with practical know-how.
He has led financial teams in telecommunications, biotechnology, building and retail industries, excelling in stakeholder management and financial governance. Peter is a decisive, direct leader who’s here to help drive 505’s next phase of growth. With his approachable manner, sharp communication, and deep expertise in budgeting and forecasting, he’s already making a serious impact.

Don returned to 505 three years ago after running his own company specialising in premium villa restorations and new builds. As Project Director, Don takes ownership of the bigger picture —coordinating people, programmes, and resources to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard. He combines a strategic mindset with a deep understanding of the construction process, making him equally effective in the boardroom and on site.
Known for his strong industry relationships and ability to connect with the right people, Don is often the go-to person for navigating tricky situations. His clear communication and well-structured project management style mean clients and teams alike can trust that every stage will be delivered on time.
Beyond his technical expertise, Don brings an approachable and collaborative energy that makes working with him both easy and enjoyable. Clients tend to love him!

With over two decades in the New Zealand building industry, Ben has seen it all — from blueprint to build, and everything in between. A Licensed Building Practitioner with a rock-solid foundation in luxury residential construction, he’s led crews of 30+, mentored 50+ apprentices, he specialised in concrete and custom detailing.
After years on the tools, Ben added a diploma in quantity surveying to his toolkit, giving him a sharp edge in estimation, tendering, feasibility, and contract management.
He’s also a qualified PADI Specialty Dive Instructor, because why stick to one profession when you can have two! Above land or below sea level, Ben is known for staying calm under pressure, solving problems before they exist, and building strong foundations — literally and figuratively with his collaborative spirit.

Dan is the reliable force behind 505’s small jobs and maintenance work, ensuring every project—no matter the size—runs smoothly from start to finish. Calm under pressure and exceptionally organised, he balances multiple tasks with ease, taking the stress off the team and keeping clients confident in the process.
Always approachable and ready to jump in where needed, Dan’s practical skills and attention to detail mean nothing slips through the cracks. His friendly, can-do attitude has earned him the trust of both clients and colleagues, turning everyday jobs into seamless successes. Whether it’s a quick tweak, essential maintenance, or a hands-on construction task, Dan consistently proves that the smaller jobs can have a big impact.
Niwa joined 505 part time while he was finishing his QS diploma and working another full time job – immediately showing his hard work ethic and keenness to get stuck into quantity surveying. He has been growing his skills in leaps and bounds ever since with the kind of determination that gets things done. He communicates confidently with everyone from apprentices to clients, and works closely alongside Ben—shadowing where needed and stepping up when it counts.

Marc is a seasoned construction professional who has worked his way up from an apprentice with 505 many moons ago, returning as a Leading Hand in 2022 and progressing to become our trusted Senior Site Manager. With more than 20 years in the industry, he brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver projects efficiently and to the highest standard.
Marc’s eye for detail and methodical approach ensure that every stage of a build is carefully planned and executed. He thrives on organisation, anticipating challenges before they arise, and keeping projects on track without compromising quality.
On site, Marc leads by example—organised, approachable, and focused—making sure his team feels supported and clear on every task. Clients and colleagues alike value his reliability, practical expertise, and the calm, steady presence he brings to even the most complex projects.

Richard brings a rare mix of practical site management and academic drive to the 505 team. With years of experience in luxury residential construction, he has a meticulous eye for detail and a natural ability to turn architectural designs into buildable solutions.
While leading projects on site, Richard is also advancing his career by studying to become a Quantity Surveyor—strengthening his knowledge of costs, contracts, and planning to complement his hands-on expertise.
Never one to shy away from hard work, Richard loves to have his toolbelt on, working alongside his team to ensure his high standards are met. His leadership style combines clarity, collaboration, and craftsmanship, making him an asset to every build. As he says himself “Moe atu nga ringa raupo” (Marry a man with calloused hands).
25 years in construction, NZ Certificate in Carpentry L4
Craig is an exceptional addition to 505’s site management team. He brings extensive experience in premium residential construction and wealth of knowledge in Council requirements and NZBC Standards.
He is not only a qualified builder - Craig has a Diploma in Building Surveying, spent 2.5 years working for Auckland Council as a senior building inspector and then owned a house inspection business. Not to mention being famous on TV.
Craig is a hands on, energetic and motivated site foreman who will drive your project seamlessly to success.
27 years in construction, NZ Certificate in Carpentry L4
Ady has been a key member of the 505 team for nearly 10 years. He recently moved to 505 Construction North to head up the team on our luxury residential projects.
Ady started in construction with cabinetmaking, from which he developed a strong skill in detailing. He is meticulous with reading plans and specifications and has an intricate approach to detailed architectural work.
Ady has been a site manager on many of our projects, he brings experience and leadership to this project. He will be responsible for directing the carpentry team members and ensuring they meet their targets.
Nearly two years in, Grace quietly runs the numbers with order and precision, keeping the accounts team- and the whole company- on track. Sweetheart with a cute, under-the-radar charm, she's diligent, consistent, and gets the job done without a fuss. After moving to New Zealand, she put herself through a Xero course and swapped a Chinese company for the kiwi vibe at 505 Construction. When not crunching numbers, she's a pilates pro and a dedicated runner- a true behind-the-scenes powerhouse.

Bekah’s the glue that keeps the office ticking—juggling a million small things with impressive ease and zero fuss. She’s quick to learn, fearless in tackling whatever’s thrown her way, and absolutely indispensable. Former Manager at Whitcoulls Queen St, Bekah’s got the multitasking chops and calm energy that make everything run smoother than a freshly sharpened pencil.
