Matt is our MD of 505 Construction North and we are so excited about the successes our Northern team has had in its inaugural year.
Matt is a dynamic, focussed and driven team leader. He is a problem solver who thrives on challenges and detail in premium residential construction. Matt fiercely believes in thorough project planning and the power of a collaborative team to achieve the highest goal.
Matt has specialised in luxury residential for most of his construction career. He has been project managing in Tara Iti and Te Arai Links since moving to Mangawhai 10 years ago. Matt has boundless energy and where this will take 505 Construction North.

We lured Don to return to the 505 team after a 10 year hiatus managing his own premium villa restoration and new builds construction company.
He brings extensive experience in the construction industry and a broad network of connections. He's the guy who knows everyone and anyone.
Don is extremely organised, efficient at communicating project information and excels at delivering to his deadlines.

Craig is an exceptional addition to 505’s site management team. He brings extensive experience in premium residential construction and wealth o knowledge in Council requirements and NZBC Standards.
He is not only a qualified builder - Craig has a Diploma in Building Surveying, spent 2.5 years working for Auckland Council as a senior building inspector and then owned a house inspection business. Not to mention being famous on TV.
Craig is a hands on, energetic and motivated site manager who will drive you project seamlessly to success.

Ady Reid

Ady has been a key member of the 505 team for nearly 10 years. He recently moved to 505 Construction North to head up the team on our luxury residential projects.
Ady started in construction with cabinetmaking, from which he developed a strong skill in detailing. He is meticulous with reading plans and specifications and has an intricate approach to detailed architectural work.
Ady has been a site manager on many of our projects, he brings experience and leadership to this project. He will be responsible for directing the carpentry team members and ensuring they meet their targets.

Richard Morrison

When 505 required an experienced site manager, specialising in luxury residential construction and with exceptional attention to detail - we knew where to look and introduced Richard to our team.
Richard’s in depth understanding of architectural plans and ability to conceptualise efficient construction methods is indispensable on site. He is quick to pick a pencil and sketch through solutions with the architect, and communicates all elements in a way any client can comprehend.
Not one to get lost in paperwork, Richard balances his management requirements beautifully with getting on the tools and is always seen with his toolbelt on. As he says himself “Moe atu nga ringa raupo” (Marry a man with calloused hands).
Dan Cope

Dan moved from the UK to NZ in 2010, less than a year later he joined the 505 team as an apprentice. He has 5 years previous experience in engineering making him very innovative and conceptual with a great eye for structural development.
With now over 10 years experience in construction he has developed into a top site foreman. Dan is an allrounder whose abilities stretch far further than the building site. He is a great person to have on your team and on your table.

Reon Matthews
Civil Operations Manager
22 years in construction, NZ Certificate in Carpentry L4 & LBP.
Reon is our head of all things dirt. Passionate about moving earth and ready to drive 505 Civil division to great heights – or depths being an expert in excavation.
With 22 years in construction and being a qualified, LBP builder, Reon took his construction knowledge and developed himself by specialising in civil for the past 11 years. He worked on many sizeable housing subdivisions and large-scale commercial projects such as Albany Westfield carpark, Hobsonville shopping mall and Greenhithe Pony Club.
Once a builder for 505, we convinced Reon to return and lead 505 Civil with his civil project management skills and wealth of experience from bulk cuts, roading, drainage, to landscaping and detailed excavation. Reon is eager to make earthworks the next big thing at 505.
